About the Journal

Khazanah Tarbawi: Journal of Islamic Education publishes peer-reviewed scholarly works that advance research and critical discourse in Islamic education across diverse settings, including schools, madrasahs, pesantren, higher education institutions, and family- and community-based learning environments. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating rigorous empirical studies, conceptual analyses, and field-based inquiries that contribute to the development of theory, policy, and practice in Islamic education. It is committed to promoting academic excellence while remaining responsive to contemporary challenges such as digital transformation, educational innovation, inclusion, literacy development, and socio-cultural change.

The journal welcomes manuscripts on, but not limited to: Islamic education and tarbiyah studies, curriculum design and instructional development, teaching strategies and pedagogical innovation, assessment and educational evaluation, leadership and management in Islamic educational institutions, character and moral education, religious moderation and civic values, early childhood Islamic education, community-based education, and educational technology to strengthen learning ecosystems. Submissions may take the form of original research articles, systematic literature reviews, or critical contextual analyses, and must adhere to high academic standards and publication ethics.
