About the Journal
Khazanah Tarbawi: Journal of Islamic Education is a scholarly, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and critical discussion in Islamic education (tarbiyah) across diverse learning contexts, including schools, madrasahs, pesantren, higher education institutions, and family- and community-based educational settings. The journal aims to strengthen the development of theory, policy, and practice in Islamic education by publishing high-quality empirical studies, conceptual papers, systematic literature reviews, and critical contextual analyses.
Focus and Scope. The journal welcomes manuscripts addressing, but not limited to: Islamic education and tarbiyah studies; curriculum design and instructional development; teaching and learning innovation; assessment and educational evaluation; leadership and management of Islamic educational institutions; character and moral education (akhlaq); religious moderation and civic values; early childhood Islamic education; community-based education; and educational technology supporting Islamic learning ecosystems. Submissions are expected to demonstrate methodological rigor, scholarly originality, and relevance to contemporary educational challenges.

The journal follows an open access model in which all published articles are made freely available online, enabling readers to access, read, download, and share scholarly content without subscription barriers.
