Tanwiruna is an open-access journal, which means that all articles published in the journal are freely and permanently available online without subscription or access fees. This policy is intended to promote the wide dissemination of knowledge, enhance the global visibility of research, and support the advancement of scholarship in education and socio-religious studies.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) License. Under this license, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and adapt the published materials for any lawful purpose, provided that:

  1. proper credit is given to the original authors and the source of publication, and

  2. any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

Author Responsibilities and Rights

Authors submitting manuscripts to Tanwiruna are required to:

  • Ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration by another journal.

  • Adhere to ethical standards of research and publication, including accurate citation, clear authorship contribution, and disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

  • Follow the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines to facilitate an efficient review and publication process.

  • Grant Tanwiruna a non-exclusive right to publish and disseminate their work under the CC BY-SA 4.0 License, while retaining full copyright ownership of their articles. Authors are allowed to archive or republish their work elsewhere, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original publication in Tanwiruna.

Access, Distribution, and Archiving

Tanwiruna supports the principles of long-term digital preservation and open scholarly communication. Authors are encouraged to deposit their articles in institutional repositories, research databases, and personal academic platforms, with appropriate citation of the published version in Tanwiruna. This policy ensures sustained accessibility and maximizes the impact of published research.
