Focus and Scope

Al-Aufiya: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education and Studies focuses on Islamic education and Islamic studies by positioning Islam as a system of values, a tradition of knowledge, an educational practice, and a social reality within Muslim communities. This journal does not merely discuss Islamic education in the context of formal learning, but also examines how Islamic values, religious thought, spirituality, culture, and Islamic intellectual traditions are transmitted, developed, and transformed within educational and social life.

The scope of Al-Aufiya: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education and Studies includes:

    Studies on the concepts, practices, strategies, innovations, assessment, and development of Islamic Religious Education in schools, madrasahs, pesantren, higher education institutions, and society.
