About the Journal

Al-Aufiya: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education and Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that focuses on publishing empirical research and theoretical-conceptual studies in the fields of Islamic education and Islamic studies. The journal serves as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, education practitioners, students, and scholars of Islamic studies to develop critical, contextual, and transformative discourses related to Islamic education and Muslim societies.

The scope of the journal includes Islamic educational thought, Islamic pedagogy, pesantren and madrasah studies, curriculum development, moral and character education, Islamic educational management and leadership, religious moderation, Islamic literacy, local Islamic traditions, digital transformation in Islamic education, and contemporary socio-religious issues related to Islamic educational practices.
